What happened was when I hooked the fish I was standing on a log going out into the water, the log snapped as I tried to get my balance, me and my Gloomis and abu outfit fell into the water, coming up with no rod in my hand, thinking never to see it again. Then as I looked down waste deep into the water there on the bottom of the billabong was the cork handle just starting to move further out into the middle of the billabong.
