The Nhulunbuy Regional Sports Fishing Club (NRSFC) established in 1977, promotes and encourages all aspects of recreational fishing in and around the waters of Nhulunbuy and the East Arnhem Land Region of the Northern Territory. The club caters for everyone from the most enthusiastic game fishing angler to the weekend fisho simply wetting a line with family and friends. Beginners, visitors and newly arrived residents of Nhulunbuy are most welcome to join in with club activities and events.

The club conducts special activities for juniors, and all fishing competitions include prize sections for juniors, ladies and senior anglers.The NRSFC holds several monthly and annual tournaments throughout the year, and offers a diverse range of fishing sections including Blue Water Game, Reef, Estuary and Land Based Fishing. From Marlin and Sailfish, to Coral Trout and the Northern Territory's signature fish the Barramundi, anglers can share experiences, meet new friends and learn about the local area.

The NRSFC promotes both tag and release programmes as well as responsible and sustainable capture guidelines to ensure a future resource is maintained. The club is associate member of the Northern Territory Game Fishing Association (NTGFA), the Game Fishing Association Australia (GFAA) and the Amateur Fishermens Association of the Northern Territory (AFANT). The club conducts regular fishing clinics for beginners, ladies and juniors. All events are designed to promote enjoyable competitions, sporting activities and social events based around Australia's most popular recreational past time, fishing. Gove Game Fishing Club

The club is based in Nhulunbuy and was formed after many anglers recognized a need for a dedicated game fishing club that catered exclusively for their style of fishing. We welcome all anglers to join if game fishing is your preferred style of angling. With many marlin and sailfish found right on our doorstep it is no wonder people are keen to do battle with these magnificent fish. All events place an emphasis on fun whilst abiding by the rules that make game fishing such an exciting sport. Out of town anglers are encouraged to contact us for any information about fishing in our region.

Alligator Fishing Club

Anglers in Jabiru the “Heart of Kakadu National Park” formed the “Alligator Fishing Club”. Anglers in Jabiru decided on the name Alligator as we fish the alligator river systems. The club formed in 2005 and its main aim is to run a family orientated club, hold at least one fishing comp a year and run the monthly club fishing board that gives away at least 8 prizes a month.  Monthly prize days are held on the first Sunday of every month

The fishing club has approx 240 financial fishing members. Our main event is the “Alligator Fishing Club Challenge” held in October every year.

Dundee Social & Recreation Club

The Club house is situated at Lot 3407 Koonakara Rd, Dundee Beach, it is licensed and open from 6.00pm on Fridays during the wet season and Friday and Saturday during the dry season.

Once a month the club has a BBQ at the clubhouse or a theme night with music by the resident DJ. Cooking facilities are available, limited campsites (no power) and showers are there for club members.
